Evidence > Best Practice Guidelines

One of the core functions of PRE-EMPT has been to translate knowledge and evidence into recommendations for clinical, research and programmatic activities. These recommendations have ranged from collaborating with the WHO to publish guidelines on how to manage and treat pre-eclampsia and eclampsia (2011), to publishing white papers on standardising pre-eclampsia research by the Global Pregnancy Collaboration (2013), to disseminating guidelines for conducting health-based geo-spatial analysis research in resource-constrained settings (2016). To mobilise the uptake of these recommendations and adoption at the appropriate channels, PRE-EMPT has engaged with multiple partners, and undertaken advocacy at national and international levels for improved awareness and outcomes related to pre-eclampsia and eclampsia.
